By using the TrufflePigs application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
TrufflePigs is an AI-powered resale-scouting tool: point your camera at secondhand items and the App identifies potentially resellable items, shows marketplace pricing information, estimates profit, and can create draft listings in your own eBay account.
Item identifications, condition assessments, and price estimates are AI-generated and may be wrong. Always verify an item and its market yourself before buying or selling.
All purchase and resale decisions are yours alone, and TrufflePigs is not liable for losses arising from them.
Listings you create through the App are drafts published by you in your own marketplace account and are subject to that marketplace's terms (including eBay's User Agreement). You are solely responsible for your listings, sales, shipping, and buyer interactions.
By using the App, you consent to the collection and storage of camera photos you capture, item identifications and price data, your actions on finds (keep, dismiss, sold), and device/usage analytics. This data is used to provide the service and to improve our AI systems, including training and calibrating our identification and pricing models. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including in-app account deletion.
By creating an account, you agree to receive the TrufflePigs newsletter — occasional emails with standout community finds, flipping tips, and product updates — at your sign-in email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email or via the Newsletter setting in the App; unsubscribing does not affect your account or the service.
You agree to use the App only where you are permitted to take photos, and not to scan, resell, or list items in violation of any law or third-party rights.
The App is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future; any purchase will be clearly presented before you are charged.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL TRUFFLEPIGS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
